ARTHUR IVOR LLEWELYN

'Follow My Dreams' is exactly what I did all my life. Before my first student vacation training job, I dreamt about a room with machines with black and white dials which I recognised at Watchet radio station when I went there. Then I was recruited from University to radar development at the start of WW2.

"Looking back I can only marvel at the extraordinary way in which I was able to spend my time doing things I wanted to do and which were worthwhile."

Electronics always fascinated me. I built my first crystal set radio when I was 12 and it worked! This is a picture of me aged about 4. I was already a serious scholar with determination. Note the clenched fist!
